Working closely with the in-house team, we initially started the project with reviewing their brand identity. Over the years the brand had naturally misaligned with all the moving parts of a successful fashion house. I helped them craft their logo to take into consideration better spacing for multiple applications as well as equpping them with a new brand typeface and directional approach to use of colour.
After the brand refinement was complete we worked on how they could best support the business online. The studio revolves around two key pillars that needed to be reflected online. We had to balance the creative work the fashion shows produce as well as the retail side of the business. We successfully managed to combine these two directions whilst maintaining a light and manageable site for them in the future.
The project began under difficult circumstances. Founder Paul Costelloe had passed away just two weeks before the start date, and as a family-run fashion house, the work needed care: my aim was to respect his legacy while helping set direction for the next chapter of the brand.
