A local barbering company wanted to flex their creative outlet with a fashion based symbolic mark for clothing apparel, merchandise and video production.
With a flourishing barbering business based in leigh-on-sea, the two owners wanted to grow their brand beyond the barbering chair. They wanted a logo mark that was separate to the company name but payed homage to it in someway.
Mengo Male Grooming adopted an abbreviated version of the name, MMG, for their creative outlet. The client wanted to use the letters M, M & G combined in a graphic that can be easily transferred onto t-shirts and embroidered onto hats and jumpers.
The military influences graphic reflects a barbering lifestyle, addressing the need for precision in every haircut. The opportunity with this logo was to create their own army, proud to wear their stripes.
